Account Representative/FT/Strayer University/Washington, DC Metropolitan Area
Strayer University’s Business Development team is currently seeking a results-oriented individual to serve as an Account Representative for various markets in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
Under limited supervision, this position serves as the primary interface of Strayer University’s National Accounts Department and identified corporate sites within an assigned territory. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing existing corporate relationships and representing Strayer University at scheduled promotional events, education fairs, or other outreach opportunities as requested. The ability to travel extensively regionally and nationally is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
•Meet with corporate accounts within geography to introduce Strayer University and present Strayer University’s value to the organization in an effort to secure future promotional opportunities.
•Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned Regional Accounts and schedule quarterly outreach within accounts.
•Schedule, coordinate and personally staff information sessions, brown bag lunches, or webinars within corporate accounts quarterly.
•Locate the correct point of contacts within identified accounts and develop ongoing relationships with POCs leading to additional outreach opportunities.
•Seek out new business development opportunities within existing accounts and assist National Account Managers with the implementation of new strategies as requested.
•Establish and support cohesive relationships with campus and regional offices within territory.
•Ensure that campus representatives are aware of scheduled outreach and any pertinent information regarding upcoming events or National Account protocols.
•Join and become actively involved with local educational consortium.
•Submit weekly report summarizing accomplishments and progress towards quarterly goals to Senior National Accounts Manager.
Qualifications:
•3 - 5 years experience with demonstrated success in business-to-business sales, including experience selling to “C” level executives.
•Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, human resources or other related field.
•Ability to manage and support multiple relationships.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills, presentation skills (one-on-one and in front of groups), and business-to-business sales skills.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Individuals must be able to function as remote workers from home offices.

Summary:
The Campus Director in Training is a member of the Campus Director Leadership Program and will be exposed to all aspects of campus leadership through a 12-24 month rotational program. During the program rotations the Campus Director in Training will be exposed to all aspects of campus operations and develop an understanding of the role of a Senior Administrative Official at Strayer University. The Campus Director in training will be responsible for achieving established operational, collection, staff development, and enrollment objectives at their assigned campus/department. Primary responsibilities of this position include the management of new student recruitment activities, overall campus enrollment management, student retention initiatives, campus-level fiscal and budgetary management, business office and associated collection activities, and the overall appearance and administrative operations of the campus. In addition, this position will assist with the recruitment of future Campus Director Leadership Program members. At the completion of the Campus Director Leadership Program, the Campus Director in Training will be ready to assume the role of Campus Director at one of the Strayer University campuses, pending a formal interview process. As part of our effort to grow our onsite programs, we are looking for a high performing individual to fill an Associate Onsite Programs Dean position, reporting to the Onsite Programs Dean. The Associate Onsite Programs Dean will be responsible for academic quality at an assigned Onsite location. As the primary academic administrator, the Associate Onsite Programs Dean is responsible for maintaining an academic atmosphere conducive to learning and program growth, assuring and assessing student learning, improving continuation rates, scheduling and staffing courses every quarter, and resolving faculty and student concerns.
